About
Senetchut Menab Nehti best known as Sen Floyd is a Brooklyn born Director and Photographer. Having picked up a camera in his early teen years as a means of creative expression, Sen transformed a hobby into a lifelong passion. He began studying the art of storytelling in Grade School, and later studied cinema at the Film Connection Institution. Sen continued his quest for expanded knowledge in Photography at the New York Institute of Photography, and then studied design and marketing at Yellow Brick. His work has been featured in museum galleries such as The Studio Museum of Harlem, Jewish Museum,the MoMA, as well as the African American Museum of Dallas . Sen’s work has been published by the New York Times, Vibe, Complex, Paper Mag, the Source, MPB, Sheen, and Sharp Magazine.
Some of his most recent work was a joint Gallery with Canadian sport and tech wear company Arc’Teryx, as well as a joint street photography book and international gallery with Toronto based, artist and creative entrepreneur Bryan Brock. Sen has also been awarded 2023 People's Telly Bronze Award.
